Community and Parent Forums for our Superintendent Search
Dear Salt Lake City School District Parents and Community:
As you may know, the Salt Lake City School District Board of Education is in the process of searching for a new superintendent to lead the school district.
The board recognizes that selecting a superintendent is one of our most important functions. In order to be successful in selecting the best individual, the board is interested in gaining input from you - parents and community stakeholders.
I am writing today on behalf of the board to ask for your help by providing feedback for us to consider in our search. Your opinion and representation are important to us. We have set up a series of parent and community forums through Zoom so you can share your feedback with us.
In these meetings, you will be introduced to consultants from Ray & Associates who have been employed by the board to assist us in our superintendent search. The consultants will present an overview of the search process and criteria for the board's consideration. The consultant will ask for your input and feedback on qualities that you value in our next superintendent. This information is essential to the success of the search process, and I’m grateful for your support.
Spanish translation will be available at all of the parent and community forums. If you need translations provided in other languages, please contact Molly Schwarzhoff at Ray and Associates. Her email address is .
