Padres Comprometidos Graduates
Congratulations to our most recent group of Padres Comprometidos graduates! These 12 parents were honored last week.
The Padres Comprometidos program is an eight-week course designed to help parents increase the necessary skills to effectively engage with their children’s schools and play a leading role in preparing their children for college. Program participants earn a free Chromebook laptop upon completing the program. The program, which is in its sixth year, also fosters a strong connection between schools and parents and covers topics such as:
- Understanding and Communicating with Your Adolescent,
- Paving the Road to Academic Success,
- Understanding What it Takes, and
- Funding Provisions That Affect Your School.
