Resources for LGBTQ+ Students

The Educational Equity and Student Support Department (EESS) works collaboratively with schools, families, students, and community partners to support the social and emotional well-being of every child. EESS aims to provide school sites with the resources and district support needed to meet the needs of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ+) youth and families. EESS’ work in addressing LGBTQ+ concerns is in accordance with the District's Non-discrimination Policy, the Anti-Bullying Policy (Board Policy G-20) and Gender Inclusion Policy (Board Policy G-24). The District is committed to ensuring safe, supportive, and welcoming campuses free from discrimination and harassment for LGBTQ+ youth.
