We offer several programs that give students the opportunity to engage in advanced learning with depth, complexity, and rigor.
The Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program provides students with the opportunity to develop literacy skills in Spanish and English.
C&A is a program based around authentic learning in blended classrooms (two grade levels), which creates a sense of community and continuity.
We are dedicated to preparing students for the workforce by providing hands-on, real-world learning experiences.
We offer learning outside the traditional classroom: after school, field trips, service projects, and more.
Our commitment to fine arts education enriches students' educational experiences and builds their creativity and critical thinking.
We provide students with opportunities to participate in competitive and recreational athletics, fostering school spirit and a sense of community.
We are deeply committed to laying a strong educational foundation for our youngest learners.
The SLCSD Way describes our collective work as an organization. We treat all people with dignity and establish collaborative environments where students can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. We engage multiple voices as we make informed decisions, focused on students, in alignment with policy and guidance. We communicate clearly about the reasoning and context behind our decisions. We create welcoming schools grounded in a culture of belonging for all students, families, employees, and community members.
