The Salt Lake City School District wellness committee is currently working to review and evaluate the effectiveness of the administrative procedures to Board Policy G-3: Wellness. As part of this process, we welcome comments and relative information to assist the committee in making fair and objective recommendations to improve the overall health of our students.
The position/person responsible for leading and coordinating the wellness committee is the district’s director of child nutrition programs, Kelly Orton.

BOARD POLICY G-3: WELLNESS [REVISED] February 2024
On February 6, 2024, the school board approved some revisions to board policy G-3: Wellness. A district wellness committee has been appointed with representation from various school communities and backgrounds to work with Policy and Legal Services to evaluate compliance and recommend modifications to G-3: Administrative Procedures Wellness that will positively impact student health.
As part of this process, we welcome comments and relative information to assist the committee in making fair and objective recommendations to improve the overall health of our students.
