Coronovirus Response (COVID-19)

July 1, 2020

Salt Lake City School District - Meals Available for Children during the COVID-19 epidemic will continue through the summer.

The Salt Lake City School District will continue to operate a "Drive thru Meal Service" at 13 designated school sites for children to receive a "Lunch Today, Breakfast Tomorrow" combo meal each weekday during the summer from July 1 through August 31, 2020.

To help ensure safety, all meals will be prepared, packaged and delivered by our staff directly to your vehicle. For those without a vehicle, walk-up service is also available. Special meal request will be made available upon request. Contact our registered dietician, Brianna Hardisty, to determine site location and make additional arrangements as needed (Brianna.Hardisty@slcschools.org).

This federal seamless food service program is open to the public. Free/reduced meal benefit status and school enrollment is not a requirement. These meals will be provided daily free of charge to all children ages 18 and younger. Meals will be provided, at the sites and times listed in the "Emergency Meal Delivery Sites" PDF below.

Lunch/breakfast combo meals are served Monday-Friday at all thirteen (13) designated school sites between the hours of 11:00 to 12:30 p.m.

Normal day to day program information can be found on the Salt Lake City School District Child Nutrition page or by clicking on the green "Child Nutrition Home Page" button above.
