Communication between parents and families, their schools, and the district is important, and we are working to strengthen our connection with you by using a communication platform called ParentSquare.

Some of the exciting features of ParentSquare include:

Easy to Use: The app looks like a social media feed and is simple for new users. You can use it on your phone or computer.
Centralized Communication: ParentSquare brings all messages from your school and district into one place.
Consistency Across District Schools: No matter which district school your kids attend, you'll get messages the same way.
Digest Option: Instead of getting each message separately, you can get a daily summary of all school messages.
Good for Non-Techies: If you don't use the app or website much, you can still get text messages from your child's teacher on your phone.
Translation: If you speak a language other than English, you'll get messages from the teacher in your language. When you reply, the teacher will see it in English thanks to ParentSquare's translation.

What can I do with ParentSquare?

Receive messages from your school/district via email, text, or mobile app notification.

Frequently Asked Questions

I did not receive a registration email. What do I do?

Go to www.parentsquare.com/signin. You can also install the ParentSquare app and follow the prompts to sign up. Your email/phone number used to set up your ParentSquare account must match contact details in the school’s database for this to work.

If your contact details aren’t recognized, contact your school to get them added. After they update your information in our database, the new contact details will appear in ParentSquare after the next daily sync, and you will be able to create an account.

How do I fix or change my contact details?

How do I update my language preference?

If you are using the web browser: On your home page, click your name and select “My Account.” Then, select “Language Setting.”

If you are using the mobile app: From your home screen, click the triple bar in the top left corner. Click on “Account,” then “Preferences,” then “Language Settings.”

Select your preferred language and save.

How do I change or stop notifications?

ParentSquare allows users to customize their notifications based on notification type and select their preferred delivery method for each school.

You can choose between “instant” and “digest” notifications or choose to turn off notifications altogether (excluding emergency alerts and notices). The “instant” setting will send all posts notifications in real-time. The “digest” setting sends direct messages, alerts, and time-sensitive posts instantly, but sends all non-time sensitive posts at the end of the day, reducing the number of notifications you receive daily.
