Robert Durham, who teaches Environmental Science, Biology, and Astronomy at East High School, was awarded the Outstanding Public School Teacher Award by the Office of Academic Affairs at the University of Utah. Each year, this award goes to just one K-12 teacher in the state of Utah.
When informed about Mr. Durham’s award, Natalie Dutrow, one of our District Science Coaches, said, “If you have had the privilege of having Rob as a colleague, you are aware of how deserving he is of this award. His genuine love of science, deep care and concern for his students, and commitment to his faculty peers is abundantly clear.”
Congratulations Mr. Durham!
