November 1 is an At-home Learning Day

Next Tuesday, November 1, 2022, is our first At-home Learning Day for this school year. On this day, all K-12 students in the district will learn at home. Teachers will provide learning tasks and materials to students in advance. Teachers will be attending required professional development sessions throughout the day.

On Tuesday, take-home school meals can be picked up in the cafeteria by each student or a member of their household at the school nearest their home (except for Innovations) during the hours of 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Please be aware that student meals will be charged according to the student’s free and reduced meal benefit status (free/reduced/paid). These are not free meals for the community, as offered last year. The following information must be provided to receive a take-home student meal:

  • Student ID number
  • Student’s full name and grade
  • Name of the school the student attends.

All meals will be packaged as cold items. Written storage and heating instructions will be provided for students and families to prepare the meals at home. Meals for children with special dietary needs must be arranged through Brianna Hardisty in Child Nutrition or your school’s kitchen manager at least 24-hours before meal service.
