West High Student Named Bank of America Student Leader
Congratulations to West High School student Anika Rao, who was named a 2022 Bank of America Student Leader! Only 300 students from across the country are selected for this prestigious program.
Through the bank's Student Leaders program, students will have opportunities to gain insights through an eight-week paid internship, working closely with Fourth Street Clinic and the Governor’s STEM Action Center to develop leadership and workforce skills, and participating in a week-long virtual leadership summit centering on civic engagement and serving our communities.
Since 2004, Bank of America has recognized more than 3,500 young people as student leaders, helping them gain workforce experience, provide leadership skills, and connect with a peer network of engaged youth leaders. The program, which is in its third year in the Salt Lake City community, is part of the bank's commitment to driving responsible growth by investing in workforce development programs and youth employment.
