English Language Arts
The English Language Arts Department is committed to providing a rich educational experience for all students that will enable them to participate fully in a literate society. Beginning with early readers and writers, we provide opportunities to listen, speak, read, and write for a variety of purposes. As students become proficient in their ability to read and communicate their ideas and demonstrate knowledge, we strive to provide experiences that both enrich and challenge their view of the world. Our ultimate goal is to prepare students to be college and career ready, enabling them to be happy and productive members of our community.
