Salt Lake Education Foundation and Development Office
The Development Office is charged with the responsibility of seeking internal and external funding to support Salt Lake City School District.
The significant functional areas managed by this office include the coordination of the fundraising efforts of the district. The Development Office is also charged with the management of the district’s volunteer program, coordinating with external organizations to develop, recruit, organize and acknowledge volunteer efforts supporting Salt Lake City schools. The Development Office maintains the fund development database of all donations received and is charged with the responsibility of maintaining compliance with all applicable IRS donation and receipting rules. The Development Office processes all charitable contributions to the Salt Lake Education Foundation as well as donations made directly to the district, individual schools or programs.
